SAGRO SAESOLITE are committed to mobilizing the disadvantaged & underprivileged youth in grass roots areas across Sub-Saharan Africa.

The Vocational & Skills training Programs include training in:

(A) Fish Farming (fish pond) & Fish Feed Production:

SAGRO and SAESOLITE are aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the fish farming industry in Sub-Saharan African countries. Different types of fish will be bred depending on the area. Within a specific time in acquiring the skills through training, the youth will gain experience in sand-free fish handling, fresh fish packaging and storage, distribution and sales management. Through training they will acquire the knowledge in modern brick oven fish drying so they can be active in domestic and foreign markets revenue.

(B) Beekeeping (Bee Farming for Honey Produce)

The tradition of beekeeping has been practiced around the world for centuries. By utilizing modern technology the beekeeping process can be made more efficient and profitable for youths in Sub-Saharan Africa. Through training the youth will be empowered to thrive in the beekeeping industry. Special attention will be given to packaging, storage and distribution of the products.

(C) Ostrich Farming (Production of Ostrich Leather, Feathers and Meat)

Ostrich oil is sought for its medicinal and skin treatment. The ostrich egg is high in calcium, magnesium, protein, potassium and other vitamins. Sub-Saharan African youth will be economically empowered by being educated concerning ostrich farming. With these skills they are potentially positioned to participate in the domestic ostrich leather industry. Ostrich feathers are known for quality Head Pillows and Hand Fans.

(D) Vegetables and Fruits Farming:

The youth will be taught to engage in large scale vegetable and fruit farming. They will be educated concerning the nutrients in these fruits and vegetables and will be encouraged to sell them at markets thus becoming financially secure. They will also learn how to package and market the produce effectively and be empowered to compete in the domestic and global market. Organic composting in the farms and plantations would enhance pesticides free produce for high market demand.
